Doorstep Selling of Goods Terms and Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“the Agreement”) govern the doorstep selling of goods by THP Shop (“the Seller”) to the consumer (“the Buyer”). By engaging in a doorstep sale, both parties agree to be bound by the terms outlined herein.
Description of Goods
The Seller agrees to accurately describe the goods offered for sale during doorstep transactions, including specifications, quantity, and any applicable warranties.
Right to Cancel
The Buyer has the right to cancel the doorstep sale within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The Buyer must provide notice of cancellation in writing or another durable medium.
Delivery and Risk
The Seller is responsible for ensuring that the goods are delivered in a satisfactory condition and within the agreed-upon timeframe.
Risk in the goods passes to the Buyer upon delivery.
Pricing and Payment
The Seller agrees to disclose the total price of the goods, including all applicable taxes and delivery charges, before the doorstep sale is finalized.
Payment terms should be clearly communicated, and the Seller is prohibited from applying excessive charges.
Information and Documentation
The Seller must provide the Buyer with a written copy of the doorstep sale agreement, including a summary of cancellation rights, and any relevant documentation.
Compliance with Laws
Both parties agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to doorstep selling in England and Wales.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements, whether written or oral.
By engaging in a doorstep sale with THP Shop, both the Seller and the Buyer acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
