Electrician Services Terms and Conditions (Business)

Agreement Overview

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are entered into by and between the client (“Client”) and [Your Electrician Business Name], a company registered in England and Wales (“Electrician”). This Agreement governs the provision of electrical services (“Services”) by the Electrician to the Client’s business premises.

Scope of Work

The Client agrees to engage the Electrician for the purpose of providing electrical services as outlined in the agreed-upon estimate or proposal. The scope of work, including specific details of the Services, materials to be used, and the timeline, will be documented in writing and mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Payment Terms

Quotation and Estimates

The Electrician will provide the Client with a detailed quotation or estimate for the Services. This document will outline the scope of work, costs, and any other relevant details. The Client agrees to pay the amount specified in the quotation or estimate.

Payment Schedule

The Client agrees to adhere to the payment schedule outlined in the quotation or estimate. Payments may be required in installments, with a percentage due upon project commencement and subsequent payments due at agreed-upon milestones.

Late Payments

In the event of late payment, the Electrician reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of [insert percentage] per month or part thereof.

Additional Costs

The Client acknowledges that additional costs may be incurred for unforeseen circumstances or changes to the scope of work. Such additional costs will be communicated to the Client, and written approval will be obtained before proceeding with any changes.

Cancellation and Termination

Termination by Electrician

The Electrician reserves the right to terminate the Agreement if the Client breaches any terms outlined herein. In such cases, the Client will be liable for any costs incurred up to the termination date.

Quality Assurance

The Electrician is committed to delivering high-quality Services. If the Client is dissatisfied with any aspect of the work, they must notify the Electrician promptly, and reasonable efforts will be made to address and rectify any issues.

Liability and Insurance

The Electrician holds appropriate insurance coverage for the Services provided. The Client agrees that the Electrician’s liability is limited to the cost of the Services and does not extend to any consequential or indirect losses.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether oral or written.

Amendments

Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
