Insulation Installation Services Terms and Conditions (Home) – United Kingdom
Scope of Work
The Insulation Installer agrees to provide insulation installation services as specified in the written agreement with the Client, adhering to industry standards and complying with all relevant regulations.
Any additional work requested by the Client, not covered by the initial agreement, will be subject to mutually agreed-upon terms and pricing.
Charges and Payments
The Client agrees to pay the Insulation Installer the agreed-upon fee for insulation installation services rendered.
Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. Late payments may incur additional charges.
All prices are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise specified.
Materials and Equipment
The Insulation Installer will provide all necessary materials and equipment unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
The cost of any additional materials required due to unforeseen circumstances or changes in specifications will be borne by the Client.
Appointment and Cancellation
The Client agrees to provide access to the property at the agreed-upon date and time for the provision of insulation installation services.
Cancellation or rescheduling of appointments must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance; failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
Liability
The Insulation Installer shall carry adequate insurance to cover any damage or injury resulting from the provision of insulation installation services.
The Insulation Installer shall not be liable for any pre-existing issues or damage unrelated to the insulation services provided.
Health and Safety
The Client agrees to maintain a safe working environment for the Insulation Installer and their employees during insulation work.
The Insulation Installer will adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.
Warranty
The Insulation Installer provides a warranty for the completed insulation work for a period of [X] months from the completion date.
Any defects arising from faulty workmanship within the warranty period will be rectified by the Insulation Installer at no additional cost to the Client.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of the agreement.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during the provision of insulation services.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Act 1996.
Amendments
Any changes to this agreement must be in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
By engaging the services of the Insulation Installer, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
