Lucy Beresford is a psychodynamic psychotherapist registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). She has an M.A. in Psychotherapy from The City University, London, and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy, having studied for both at Regent’s College School of Psychotherapy & Counselling. She works sensitively one-to-one with a range of individual clients from different backgrounds, all grappling with some aspect of their life. This could be anxiety, body image issues, coping with fame or being in the public eye, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues, writer’s or artist’s block, or a more general query about life – is this all there is? Or, why am I not yet where I thought I’d be? Lucy works with The Priory Hospital, Roehampton and has worked regularly at the Delhi Psychiatry Centre in India. In her practice Lucy explores with each client what from their past has led them to be the person they are now, and tailors her treatment to help clients make healthier choices and manifest the life they want. Lucy’s work is informed by her passion for story-telling and for giving people the chance to feel – perhaps for the first time in their life – heard. She hosts a weekly phone-show on LBC answering callers’ sexual and relationship worries, and is the author of three novels and the self-help book Happy Relationships: at home, work and play.”
