Sale of Goods Terms and Conditions (Business to Consumer)

DEFINITIONS

“Seller” refers to the business entity selling goods to consumers.

“Buyer” refers to the individual consumer purchasing goods from the Seller.

“Goods” refers to the products or items offered for sale by the Seller.

ORDER PROCESS

The Buyer places an order through the Seller’s platform, either online or in-store.

The Seller acknowledges the order with an order confirmation, detailing the goods, prices, and estimated delivery dates.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

Prices for goods, including any applicable taxes or fees, are clearly displayed during the ordering process.

Payment is due at the time of order placement. Accepted payment methods include [list of accepted methods, e.g., credit/debit cards].

DELIVERY

The Seller will make reasonable efforts to deliver the goods within the agreed-upon timeframe.

The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the Buyer upon delivery.

RIGHT TO CANCEL

The Buyer has the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, the Buyer must inform the Seller in writing.

RETURNS

If the Buyer cancels the contract, the goods must be returned to the Seller within 14 days of cancellation.

The Buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless the goods are faulty or not as described.

REFUNDS

The Seller will refund the total amount paid by the Buyer, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the initial transaction.

WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

The Seller warrants that the goods will conform to their description and be free from defects.

The Seller’s liability for any breach of contract or defects in the goods is limited to the purchase price.

DATA PROTECTION

The Seller will process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
