Car Repair Terms & Conditions (VBRA Version) (B2C)

Introduction

These terms and conditions (“the Agreement”) govern the contractual relationship between THP Shop (“the Repairer”) and individuals availing car repair services (“the Customer”). These terms are aligned with the Vehicle Body Repairers’ Association (VBRA) guidelines and are applicable in the United Kingdom.

Estimates and Quotations

The Repairer will provide a written estimate or quotation for the cost of repair services, adhering to VBRA standards.

Any additional work not covered by the original estimate will be communicated to the Customer for approval before commencement.

Booking and Confirmation

The Customer may book repair services by phone, in person, or through the Repairer’s online booking system.

A booking is considered confirmed when the Customer receives confirmation from the Repairer.

Payment

Payment for repair services is due upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Repairer accepts payment by cash, credit card, or other agreed-upon methods, in compliance with VBRA standards.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

The Customer may cancel or reschedule a booking by providing reasonable notice to the Repairer.

The Repairer reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for late cancellations, as outlined by VBRA guidelines.

Warranty

The Repairer provides a warranty for the repair services performed, in accordance with VBRA standards.

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship and is subject to the terms specified by VBRA.

Parts and Materials

The Repairer may use new, reconditioned, or aftermarket parts as necessary for the repair, adhering to VBRA regulations.

The Customer will be informed of the type of parts used and their respective warranties, as per VBRA guidelines.

Liability and Insurance

The Repairer holds liability insurance covering accidental damage caused by negligence during the repair process, meeting VBRA requirements.

The Customer is responsible for notifying the Repairer of any pre-existing damage to the vehicle before the repair, following VBRA standards.

Completion and Collection

The Customer will be notified when the repair work is complete, as per VBRA regulations.

The Customer agrees to collect the vehicle promptly upon completion, and any storage fees for delayed collection will be communicated, adhering to VBRA guidelines.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By availing our car repair services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions in accordance with VBRA standards.
