Catering Terms and Conditions (Medium – Large Function) (B2C)
Introduction
These terms and conditions (“the Agreement”) govern the contractual relationship between THP Shop (“the Caterer”) and individuals engaging catering services for medium to large functions (“the Client”). By availing our services, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms.
Booking and Confirmation
A non-refundable deposit of [Specify Amount or Percentage] is required to confirm the catering services for the medium to large function.
The booking is considered provisional until the deposit is received, and the Caterer reserves the right to release the booking if payment is not made within [Specify Timeline, e.g., 14 days].
Payment
Full payment for catering services is due [Specify Timeline, e.g., 30 days] before the medium to large function.
Payments can be made by [Specify Payment Methods, e.g., bank transfer, cheque, or credit card].
Cancellation and Refund Policy
The Client may cancel the catering services by providing written notice to the Caterer.
The deposit is non-refundable. For cancellations made [Specify Timeline, e.g., more than 60 days] before the medium to large function, [Specify Percentage]% of the total fee will be charged. Cancellations made within [Specify Timeline, e.g., 60 days] of the event will incur the full fee.
Event Details and Requirements
The Client agrees to provide accurate and complete information about the medium to large function, including the venue, number of guests, dietary requirements, and any other relevant details.
Any changes to the event details must be communicated to the Caterer in writing within a reasonable timeframe.
Menu and Dietary Restrictions
The Caterer will provide a comprehensive menu for the medium to large function based on the agreed-upon details.
The Client is responsible for communicating any dietary restrictions or special requirements of their guests.
Responsibility for Equipment
The Caterer will provide necessary catering equipment for the medium to large function.
The Client is responsible for providing access to necessary facilities and ensuring the availability of any specific equipment required for the catering.
Liability and Insurance
The Caterer is not liable for any loss or damage to property, injury, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
The Client is encouraged to obtain event insurance to cover any unforeseen incidents.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
By availing our catering services for medium to large functions, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
