Doorstep Selling of Variable Priced Goods Terms & Conditions
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“the Agreement”) govern the doorstep selling of variable priced goods by THP Shop (“the Seller”) to the consumer (“the Buyer”). By engaging in a doorstep sale, both parties agree to be bound by the terms outlined herein.
Description of Variable Priced Goods
The Seller agrees to describe variable priced goods accurately, specifying the factors influencing pricing, and providing transparent information to the Buyer.
Right to Cancel
The Buyer has the right to cancel the doorstep sale of variable priced goods within 14 days from the date of receipt, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The Buyer must provide notice of cancellation in writing or another durable medium.
Pricing Transparency
The Seller is obligated to provide clear and transparent information about the pricing factors affecting variable priced goods during doorstep transactions.
Any changes to pricing during the transaction must be communicated and agreed upon by the Buyer.
Delivery and Risk
The Seller is responsible for ensuring that variable priced goods are delivered in a satisfactory condition and within the agreed-upon timeframe.
Risk in the variable priced goods passes to the Buyer upon delivery.
Payment Terms
The Seller agrees to disclose the total price and factors influencing variable pricing, including all applicable taxes and charges, before the doorstep sale is finalized.
Payment terms should be clearly communicated, and the Seller is prohibited from applying excessive charges.
Information and Documentation
The Seller must provide the Buyer with a written copy of the doorstep sale agreement, including a summary of cancellation rights, and any relevant documentation related to variable priced goods.
Compliance with Laws
Both parties agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to doorstep selling in England and Wales concerning variable priced goods.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith.
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements, whether written or oral.
By engaging in a doorstep sale with [Your Company Name], both the Seller and the Buyer acknowledge having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
