Joinery Services Terms and Conditions (Home) – United Kingdom

Scope of Work

The Joiner agrees to provide joinery services as specified in the written agreement with the Client, adhering to industry standards and complying with all relevant regulations.

Any additional work requested by the Client, not covered by the initial agreement, will be subject to mutually agreed-upon terms and pricing.

Charges and Payments

The Client agrees to pay the Joiner the agreed-upon fee for joinery services rendered.

Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. Late payments may incur additional charges.

All prices are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise specified.

Materials and Equipment

The Joiner will provide all necessary materials and equipment unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

The cost of any additional materials required due to unforeseen circumstances or changes in specifications will be borne by the Client.

Appointment and Cancellation

The Client agrees to provide access to the property at the agreed-upon date and time for the provision of joinery services.

Cancellation or rescheduling of appointments must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance; failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

Liability

The Joiner shall carry adequate insurance to cover any damage or injury resulting from the provision of joinery services.

The Joiner shall not be liable for any pre-existing issues or damage unrelated to the joinery services provided.

Health and Safety

The Client agrees to maintain a safe working environment for the Joiner and their employees during joinery work.

The Joiner will adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Warranty

The Joiner provides a warranty for the completed joinery work for a period of [X] months from the completion date.

Any defects arising from faulty workmanship within the warranty period will be rectified by the Joiner at no additional cost to the Client.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of the agreement.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during the provision of joinery services.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Act 1996.

Amendments

Any changes to this agreement must be in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

By engaging the services of the Joiner, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
