Plumbing Services Terms and Conditions (Business) – United Kingdom

Definitions

“Plumber” refers to the plumbing service provider.

“Client” refers to the business or entity engaging the services of the Plumber.

Scope of Services

The Plumber agrees to provide plumbing services as outlined in the written agreement with the Client.

Any additional services requested by the Client, not covered by the initial agreement, will be subject to additional charges.

Charges and Payments

The Client agrees to pay the Plumber the agreed-upon fee for services rendered.

Invoices are due within 30 days of receipt. Failure to make timely payments may result in late fees.

All prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be added to the invoice at the prevailing rate.

Materials and Equipment

The Plumber will provide all necessary materials and equipment unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

The cost of any additional materials required due to unforeseen circumstances will be borne by the Client.

Appointment and Cancellation

The Client agrees to provide access to the property or premises at the agreed-upon date and time for the provision of services.

If the Client needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment, they must provide at least 72 hours’ notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.

Liability

The Plumber shall carry adequate insurance to cover any damage or injury resulting from the provision of services.

The Plumber shall not be liable for any pre-existing issues or damage unrelated to the services provided.

Health and Safety

The Client agrees to maintain a safe working environment for the Plumber and their employees.

The Plumber will adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Warranty

The Plumber warrants their workmanship for a period of [X] months from the completion date.

Any defects arising from faulty workmanship within the warranty period will be rectified by the Plumber at no additional cost to the Client.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material term of the agreement.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during the provision of services.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Act 1996.

Amendments

13.1 Any changes to this agreement must be in writing and agreed upon by both parties.

By engaging the services of the Plumber, the Client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
