If you’re done with static lists and dated data, here’s what to use instead.

I used LeadScrape back in the day when I needed quick lists of local business leads. It’s a decent scraping tool—cheap, offline, and does what it says. But let’s be real: it’s dated. No CRM sync, no email verification, no intent data, no outreach.

So I went hunting for better B2B lead generation tools, and here’s what actually worked 👇

1. ZoomInfo

zoominfo_4

What it does: Premium B2B leads database with buyer intent, technographics, and sales insights.

Why it’s 🔥:

  • Massive B2B contact database—emails, phones, job titles, org charts.
  • Built-in buyer intent data (super useful for timing outreach).
  • Seamless CRM + sales tool integrations.

What bugged me:

  • Expensive AF.
  • You need a demo to get a price (annoying).
  • Data gets iffy for small/local biz.

Pricing: Enterprise-level. Not SMB-friendly.

Verdict: Total beast if you’ve got budget and a sales team. Way more than just a lead scraper—this is a full-blown B2B lead generation platform.

2. RocketReach

rocketreach_3

What it does: Email + phone number finder that pulls data from LinkedIn, company websites, and social profiles.

What I liked:

  • Chrome extension is fast and super intuitive.
  • Great hit rate on verified business emails.
  • Affordable compared to big dogs.

What I didn’t:

  • Not built for bulk scraping.
  • No intent data or deep company info.

Pricing: From $53/month.

Verdict: If you’re replacing LeadScrape to get accurate contact info, RocketReach is way cleaner and way easier to use.

3. Kaspr

kaspr_4

What it does: Real-time lead generation tool for LinkedIn that finds emails and direct dials instantly.

What I loved:

  • The phone number hit rate blew LeadScrape out of the water.
  • Easy Chrome extension that works while you browse.
  • Has webhook and automation features baked in.

What’s meh:

  • Stronger in EU than US.
  • Less deep company insights.

Pricing: Free plan. Paid from €49/month.

Verdict: If you’re doing cold calls or outbound from LinkedIn, Kaspr crushes LeadScrape. Just faster, cleaner, and smarter.

4. LeadIQ

leadiq_4

What it does: Prospecting tool that syncs leads from LinkedIn straight into your CRM with validated emails.

What I liked:

  • Live enrichment + email validation.
  • CRM sync is slick (especially with HubSpot/Salesforce).
  • Tracks job changes, funding alerts, and more.

What I didn’t love:

  • Steeper price if you’re solo.
  • Not built for scraping big lists.

Pricing: Starts at $75/month.

Verdict: If LeadScrape feels like duct tape, LeadIQ feels like Tesla. It’s smarter prospecting for serious SDRs.

5. Apollo.io

apollo_4

What it does: Complete B2B lead generation tool—prospecting, enrichment, cold email, CRM… all in one.

Why I’m obsessed:

  • Massive database (270M+ contacts).
  • Direct dials, validated emails, company filters = easy targeting.
  • Built-in email outreach, sequences, and analytics.
  • Free plan is shockingly useful.

What’s not perfect:

  • UI gets laggy with big lists.
  • Emails can bounce if you skip verification.

Pricing: Free plan available. Paid from $49/month.

Verdict: This replaced LeadScrape + 3 other tools for me. If you want to scale outbound with one platform, Apollo is your move.

6. SalesIntel

salesintel_4

Honestly, this is a solid B2B leads database provider with human-verified contacts (they claim 95% accuracy). Great for targeting U.S. decision-makers, especially if you’re into account-based stuff.

Loved:

  • Human-verified data = super clean.
  • Buyer intent + firmographics.
  • B2B technographic data is gold for SaaS sales.

Meh:

  • UI feels a bit clunky.
  • Not the best for global leads.

Pricing: You’ll need to talk to sales.

Verdict: If clean, verified U.S. business leads are what you’re after, this beats LeadScrape all day.

7. LeadSwift

leadswift_4

LeadSwift focuses on local business lead generation, and it’s fast. Think roofers, HVAC, dentists—perfect for agencies doing local SEO or cold outreach.

Loved:

  • Instant access to biz owner emails and phones.
  • Great for niche/local targeting.
  • Super easy to use.

Didn’t love:

  • No CRM or outreach tools.
  • Data isn’t verified or enriched like bigger platforms.

Pricing: One-time or monthly plans, starting cheap.

Verdict: Good LeadScrape-style tool with a more modern vibe. Best if you’re doing local lead scraping at scale.

8. Skrapp

  • Good accuracy for B2B contacts.
  • Simple UI.

  • Works well for startups.

Didn’t love:

  • Not much on phone numbers.
  • UI can be buggy.

This one’s not software—it’s a done-for-you lead research service.

Loved:

  • Human researchers.
  • Custom targeting (job titles, events, tech stack, etc.).
  • You get clean, targeted lists with zero effort.

Didn’t love:

  • No platform to explore or tweak stuff yourself.
  • Turnaround times vary.

Pricing: Custom, usually a few hundred/month.

Verdict: Best if you’re too busy to dig for leads. Just pay them and get the lists.

12. LeadFuze

leadfuze_4

  • CRM integrations.
  • Good filtering by tech stack, job roles, etc.

Didn’t love:

brevo_4

Formerly Sendinblue. More of a marketing automation platform, but has light CRM and contact tools.

Liked:

  • Built-in email marketing + SMS.
  • Contact management + segmentation.
  • Affordable.

Didn’t like:

  • Weak B2B lead database.
  • Not a true sales prospecting tool.

Pricing: Free plan, paid from $25/month.

Verdict: Better for nurture marketing, not lead scraping or cold prospecting.

15. Leadzai

leadzai_4

AI-powered lead gen platform that builds funnels, creates ads, and finds contacts.

Loved:

  • You can literally plug in your site and start getting leads.
  • Facebook/Google ad automation + CRM.
  • Feels more like a growth hacker’s toolkit.

Didn’t love:

  • More SMB/B2C than B2B.
  • Less control over targeting.

Pricing: Paid plans from €49/month.

Verdict: If you’re running ads + funnels, it’s cool. Not a direct LeadScrape swap though.

Loved:

  • Crazy good intent tracking + predictive analytics.
